We strive to include everyone in all facets of the training process in order to build strong relationships between the recipients, volunteers, staff and local community.
GOFI plans to fully utilize the surrounding community to meet its organizational goals. And finally, our Board of Directors will include individuals from our community who fully understand the benefits of service dogs: veterans suffering from mental illness or physical handicaps, individuals with spinal cord injuries, and/or children with severe anxiety, epilepsy or those suffering from PTSD.
We want our organization to be guided by those who truly deserve a say in how a service dog organization should be run.
GOFI relies on volunteers for its success. We greatly appreciate any and all help you can provide. We are in need of assistance in the following areas.
• Grant Writing
• Web Development , Social Media, Blogging
• House visits and evaluations
• Puppy socialization Liability
• Administrative tasks
• Fundraising, event management
• Puppy management
• Dog walking
• Video making
Please think about volunteering - we would love to have you as part of the GOFI Team.
